Michigan High School Basketball - Stoney Creek victorious over Dakota

In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Stoney Creek Cougars basketball team scored a good 45-33 triumph over the Dakota Cougars.

The Cougars (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against Clarkston (Clarkston, MI). The Wolves go into the Oakland - Red contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Clarkston topped Avondale (Auburn Hills, MI), 62-48, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils (Grosse Pointe, MI) in a Macomb Area - Red contest, on Wednesday, January 22. Dakota will attempt to better on its 3-8 season record. The Blue Devils go into the contest with a 4-7 record after their 56-43 non-league win over Riverview (Riverview, MI).
