Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Waynesburg Central succumbs to Fort Cherry

The Fort Cherry Rangers defeated the visiting Waynesburg Central Raiders basketball squad by a final score of 51-31 in Monday's non-league outing.

Next, the Rangers clash with the Carlynton Cougars (Carnegie, PA) in a WPIAL 2A 2 outing, on Thursday, January 23. Fort Cherry will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record. The Cougars come into the outing with a 7-7 record after their 58-35 non-league win over Jefferson-Morgan (Jefferson, PA).

The Raiders (8-6) will now prepare for their outing against Washington (Washington, PA). The Prexies come into the WPIAL 3A 3 outing with a 5-10 record. In their last outing, Washington overcame Brownsville (Brownsville, PA), 41-39, in a league outing.
