Next, the Tigers clash with the Jim Hill Tigers (Jackson, MS) in a 6A Region 3 test, on Tuesday, January 21. Hattiesburg will attempt to improve on its 12-9 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 10-7 record after their 51-32 league win over Pearl River Central (Carriere, MS).

The Trojans (4-17) will now prepare for their test against Perry Central (New Augusta, MS). The Bulldogs come into the 3A Region 8 test with a 11-16 record. In their last test, Perry Central was routed by St. Patrick (Biloxi, MS), 50-14, in a league test.
