In Monday's non-league contest, the host Holgate Tigers basketball team scored a good 39-28 triumph over the Swanton Bulldogs.

The Tigers (3-14) will now prepare for their contest against Stryker (Stryker, OH). The Panthers go into the Buckeye Border contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Stryker was toppled by Montpelier (Montpelier, OH), 35-28, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs confront the Delta Panthers (Delta, OH) in a Northwest Ohio contest, on Thursday, January 23. Swanton will attempt to better on its 3-13 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 15-0 record after their 57-48 league win over Archbold (Archbold, OH).
