In Monday's non-league contest, the host Maroa-Forsyth Trojans basketball team scored a good 62-44 triumph over the Tuscola Warriors.
The Trojans (18-2) will now prepare for their contest against Clinton (Clinton, IL). The Maroons go into the non-league contest with a 16-5 record. In their last contest, Clinton topped Tuscola (Tuscola, IL), 60-53, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Warriors battle the Meridian Hawks (Macon, IL) in a Central Illinois contest, on Thursday, January 23. Tuscola will attempt to better on its 11-9 season record.
