Iowa High School Basketball - Wayne routs Mormon Trail

In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Wayne Falcons basketball team scored a big 50-11 win over the Mormon Trail Saints.

The Falcons (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against East Union (Afton, IA). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 0-14 record. In their last contest, East Union was trounced by Martensdale-St. Mary's (Martensdale, IA), 63-29, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Saints battle the Twin Cedars Sabers (Bussey, IA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Mormon Trail will attempt to better on its 1-12 season record. The Sabers come into the contest with a 0-7 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Moulton-Udell (Moulton, IA).
