New York High School Basketball - Williamsville South can't get by Nichols

January 20, 2025: Williamsville, NY 14221

Nichols Vikings (Buffalo, NY) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Williamsville South Billies (Williamsville, NY), 51-47 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Nichols advances its record to 6-6 on the year. The Vikings host Sacred Heart Academy (Buffalo, NY) to meet the Sharks in a Monsignor Martin match on Thursday, January 23. The Sharks enter the match with a record of 8-6. Sacred Heart Academy lost 54-49 in their recent non-league match against Orchard Park (Orchard Park, NY)

The Billies now own a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Seneca East for a Section 6 Erie County II match on Thursday, January 23.
