In Monday's non-league test, the Springs Valley Blackhawks (French Lick, IN) basketball squad trounced the visiting Salem Lions (Salem, IN), by a score of 71-31.

Next, the Blackhawks clash with the West Washington Senators (Campbellsburg, IN) in a Patoka Lake test, on Wednesday, January 22. Springs Valley will attempt to improve on its 9-7 season record. The Senators come into the test with a 10-9 record after their 57-28 non-league loss to Trinity Lutheran (Seymour, IN).

The Lions (1-14) will now prepare for their test against Southwestern (Hanover, IN). The Rebels come into the non-league test with a 12-6 record. In their last test, Southwestern bounced Switzerland County (Vevay, IN), 56-28, in a league test.
