The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Anchor Bay Tars (Fair Haven, MI) and the visiting Tawas Area Braves (Tawas City, MI), witnessed Anchor Bay's ice hockey team defeat Tawas Area by a score of 6-4.
The Tars (7-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Dakota (Macomb, MI). The Cougars come into the Macomb Area - Red challenge with a 11-5 record. In their last challenge, Dakota by Mott (Waterford, MI), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Braves battle the Grandville Bulldogs (Grandville, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 25. Tawas Area will attempt to better on its 2-15 season record.
