The Mott Corsairs tipped the host Dakota Cougars ice hockey squad by a tally of 2-1 in Monday's non-league match.
Next, the Corsairs face the Sault Area Blue Devils (Sault St. Marie, MI) in a non-league match, on Friday, January 24. Mott will attempt to improve on its 14-1 season record. The Blue Devils come into the match with a 8-6 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Powers Catholic (Flint, MI).
The Cougars (11-5) will now prepare for their match against Anchor Bay (Fair Haven, MI). The Tars come into the Macomb Area - Red match with a 7-7 record. In their last match, Anchor Bay nudged Tawas Area (Tawas City, MI), 6-4, in a non-league match.
