North Carolina High School Basketball - Southern Alamance overwhelms Vance County

The Southern Alamance Patriots basketball team scored 71 points and limited the visiting Vance County Vipers to 38 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Monday.

The Patriots now possess a 13-0 record. They play next when they travel to Western Alamance for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. Southern Alamance will play a Warriors team coming off a 70-68 league win over Person (Roxboro, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 8-2.

With the loss, Vance County falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Vipers host Granville Central (Stem, NC) to play the Panthers in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 3-7. Granville Central won 53-41 in their recent non-league game against J.F. Webb (Oxford, NC)
