In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Mayfield Cardinals basketball team scored a good 71-56 triumph over the Community Christian Warriors.
In their next game, the Cardinals meet the Marshall County Marshals (Benton, KY) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 22. Mayfield will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Marshals enter the match with a 9-7 record after their 64-61 league loss to Calloway County (Murray, KY).
