The Olathe West Owls basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Louisburg Wildcats to 43 in the Owls non-league triumph on Friday.
The Owls now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Piper for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 22. Olathe West will meet a Pirates team coming off a 60-45 non-league win over Central (St. Joseph, MO). The Pirates record now stands at 7-4.
The Wildcats (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Shawnee Mission South (Shawnee Mission, KS). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Shawnee Mission South triumphed over Central (Andover, KS), 53-49, in a non-league contest.
