Maryland High School Basketball - Watkins Mill beaten by Seneca Valley

The Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles ran past the host Watkins Mill Wolverines basketball team by a final score of 73-56 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Screamin' Eagles face the Kennedy Cavaliers (Silver Spring, MD) in a Montgomery 3A/2A game, on Tuesday, January 25. Seneca Valley will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Cavaliers enter the game with a 2-5 record after their 63-57 non-league loss to Wootton (Rockville, MD).

With the defeat, Watkins Mill moves to 1-10 on the year. The Wolverines host Poolesville (Poolesville, MD) to face the Falcons in a Montgomery 3A/2A game on Saturday, January 22.
