South Dakota High School Basketball - Spearfish knocked off by Huron

The Huron Tigers basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Spearfish Spartans to 38 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sturgis Brown for a AA contest on Saturday, January 22. Huron will meet a Scoopers team coming off a 56-39 league loss to Mitchell (Mitchell, SD). The Scoopers record now stands at 2-9.
The Spartans (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Mitchell (Mitchell, SD). The Kernels enter the AA contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Mitchell ran past Sturgis Brown (Sturgis, SD), 56-39, in a league contest.
