San Angelo Central Bobcats (San Angelo, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Odessa Bronchos (Odessa, TX), 41-29 in a league bout.
With the win, San Angelo Central upgrades its record to 14-10 on the season. The Bobcats host Midland (Midland, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 6A Region I District 2 bout on Tuesday, January 25. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 5-16. Midland lost 58-43 in their recent league bout against Odessa (Odessa, TX)
Next up, the Bronchos play the Permian Panthers (Odessa, TX) in a 6A Region I District 2 bout, on Tuesday, January 25. Odessa will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 5-15 record after their 79-23 league loss to Frenship (Wolfforth, TX).
