California High School Basketball - Adelanto can't hold off Camarillo

January 21, 2023: Camarillo, CA 93012

The Camarillo Scorpions basketball team scored 34 points and held the visiting Adelanto Saints to 32 in the Scorpions non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Scorpions now sport a 14-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Simi Valley for a Coastal Canyon contest on Wednesday, January 25. Camarillo will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 61-43 league win over Moorpark (Moorpark, CA). The Pioneers record now stands at 15-8.

The Saints (18-4) will now prepare for their contest against Barstow (Barstow, CA). The Aztecs enter the Desert Sky contest with a 9-11 record. In their last contest, Barstow nudged Granite Hills (Apple Valley, CA), 58-47, in a league contest.
