The Allen East Mustangs (Harrod, OH) basketball felled the host Hardin Northern Polar Bears (Dola, OH), 66-49 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (9-4) will now prepare for their test against Lincolnview (Van Wert, OH). The Lancers go into the Northwest test with a 1-12 record. In their last test, Lincolnview was beaten by Parkway (Rockford, OH), 38-35, in a non-league test.
The Polar Bears now own a 3-11 record. They play next when they host Temple Christian for a Northwest Central test on Friday, January 27. Hardin Northern will encounter a Pioneers squad coming off a 81-56 non-league win over Vanlue (Vanlue, OH). The Pioneers record now stands at 8-6.
