California High School Basketball - Vallejo thwarts Armijo

The Vallejo Red Hawks (Vallejo, CA) basketball knocked off the visiting Armijo Royals (Fairfield, CA), 52-34 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Red Hawks (10-9) will now prepare for their test against De Anza (El Sobrante, CA). The Dons go into the Tri-County - Rock test with a 4-17 record. In their last test, De Anza went down by Saint Mary's (Albany, CA), 77-74, in a league test.
The Royals now own a 2-14 record. They play next when they travel to Vanden for a Monticello Empire League test on Tuesday, January 24. Armijo will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 55-50 non-league win over Redondo Union (Redondo Beach, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 14-8.
