With the victory, Martin County improves its record to 17-2 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Magoffin County (Salyersville, KY) to confront the Hornets in a District 57 challenge on Monday, January 23. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 6-6.

Next up, the Pirates confront the Phelps Hornets (Phelps, KY) in a District 60 challenge, on Monday, January 23. Belfry will attempt to improve on its 4-14 season record.
