New Jersey High School Basketball - Johnson edges Bernards

The Johnson Crusaders (Clark, NJ) basketball nipped the visiting Bernards Mountaineers (Bernardsville, NJ), 60-58 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Crusaders (7-8) will now prepare for their test against Dayton (Springfield, NJ). The Bulldogs go into the Mountain Valley - Valley test with a 4-10 record. In their last test, Dayton was tipped by Brearley (Kenilworth, NJ), 71-57, in a league test.
The Mountaineers now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they host Delaware Valley for a Skyland - Valley test on Tuesday, January 24. Bernards will encounter a Terriers squad coming off a 52-47 non-league win over West Morris Central (Chester, NJ). The Terriers record now stands at 13-3.
