The Jones County Coyotes basketball team scored 76 points and restricted the host Bison Cardinals to 53 in the Coyotes non-league victory on Saturday.

The Coyotes now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lyman for a B Region 6 contest on Tuesday, January 24. Jones County will battle a Raiders team coming off a 75-42 league win over Sunshine Bible Academy (Miller, SD). The Raiders record now stands at 6-3.

The Cardinals (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Dupree (Dupree, SD). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 1-9 record. In their last contest, Dupree was routed by McLaughlin (McLaughlin, SD), 55-32, in a league contest.
