In Saturday's non-league outing, the Brantley Bulldogs (Brantley, AL) basketball squad felled the visiting Highland Home Flying Squadron (Highland Home, AL), by a margin of 67-59.
The Bulldogs (14-2) will now prepare for their outing against Houston County (Columbia, AL). The Lions go into the 1A Area 2 outing with a 0-13 record. In their last outing, Houston County was beaten by Florala (Florala, AL), 67-37, in a league outing.
The Flying Squadron now own a 10-6 record. They play next when they travel to Zion Chapel for a 2A Area 4 outing on Thursday, January 26. Highland Home will encounter a Rebels squad coming off a 73-64 league win over Goshen (Goshen, AL). The Rebels record now stands at 11-12.
