Arkansas High School Basketball - Cairo ripped by Marked Tree

The Marked Tree Indians basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting Cairo Pilots to 39 in the Indians non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Indians now sport a 17-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ridgefield Christian for a 1A Region 3 contest on Wednesday, January 25. Marked Tree will meet a Warriors team coming off a 61-57 league loss to Hillcrest (Strawberry, AR). The Warriors record now stands at 0-21.

The Pilots (1-19) will now prepare for their contest against Egyptian (Tamms, IL). The Pharaohs enter the non-league contest with a 3-18 record. In their last contest, Egyptian was routed by Shawnee (Wolf Lake, IL), 51-34, in a non-league contest.
