Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Canyon Comanches (Anaheim, CA) and the host Poly Bears (Riverside, CA), saw Canyon's basketball squad hold off Poly by a tally of 58-51.

With the victory, Canyon improves its record to 19-5 on the campaign. The Comanches host Villa Park (Villa Park, CA) to confront the Spartans in a Crestview challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 16-7. Villa Park won 76-57 in their recent non-league challenge against El Modena (Orange, CA)

Next up, the Bears confront the JW North Huskies (Riverside, CA) in a Ivy challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Poly will attempt to improve on its 16-9 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 13-12 record after their 66-41 non-league win over Canyon Springs (Moreno Valley, CA).
