The Nutley Maroon Raiders basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Cedar Grove Panthers to 35 in the Maroon Raiders non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Maroon Raiders now sport a 3-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shabazz for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24. Nutley will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 58-54 league loss to Barringer (Newark, NJ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-8.
The Panthers (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against West Caldwell Tech (West Caldwell, NJ). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, West Caldwell Tech ran past Bard (New York, NY), 77-57, in a non-league contest.
