California High School Basketball - Centennial thwarts Salesian College Preparatory

The Centennial Huskies (Corona, CA) basketball knocked off the host Salesian College Preparatory Pride (Richmond, CA), 64-52 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Huskies (20-3) will now prepare for their test against Santiago (Corona, CA). The Sharks go into the Big VIII test with a 6-11 record. In their last test, Santiago went down by Norco (Norco, CA), 69-51, in a league test.
The Pride now own a 14-7 record. They play next when they travel to Pinole Valley for a Tri-County - Rock test on Tuesday, January 24. Salesian College Preparatory will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 82-41 league win over St. Patrick-St. Vincent (Vallejo, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 19-3.
