Alaska High School Basketball - Monroe Catholic trounces Chugiak

The Monroe Catholic Rams (Fairbanks, AK) basketball crushed the visiting Chugiak Mustangs (Chugiak, AK), 77-28 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Rams (7-2) will now prepare for their test against North Pole (North Pole, AK). The Patriots go into the 4A Mid Alaska test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, North Pole walloped Effie Kokrine Charter (Fairbanks, AK), 67-58, in a non-league test.
The Mustangs now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Barrow for a non-league test on Saturday, January 21. Chugiak will encounter a Whalers squad coming off a 75-73 non-league loss to Chugiak (Chugiak, AK). The Whalers record now stands at 3-7.
