The UIC College Prep Firecats (Chicago, IL) basketball nipped the visiting Clemente Wildcats (Chicago, IL), 54-53 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Firecats (10-6) will now prepare for their test against Baker (Chicago, IL). The Bobcats go into the Noble test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Baker was tipped by Golder (Chicago, IL), 56-49, in a league test.
The Wildcats now own a 9-13 record. They play next when they travel to Juarez for a Chicago Public - Blue West test on Monday, January 23. Clemente will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 61-32 league win over Douglass (Chicago, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 6-8.
