The Susitna Valley Rams basketball team (Talkeetna, AK), was nudged 53-48 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Craig Panthers (Craig, AK)
The Panthers now possess a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Petersburg for a 2A Southeast battle on Friday, January 27. Craig will battle a Vikings team coming off a 56-51 non-league win over Wrangell (Wrangell, AK). The Vikings record now stands at 7-2.
The Rams (3-6) will now prepare for their battle against Ninilchik (Ninilchik, AK). The Wolverines come into the 2A Interior battle with a 10-2 record. In their last battle, Ninilchik was nudged by Bartlett (Anchorage, AK), 62-57, in a non-league battle.
