The Drayton/Valley-Edinburg Titans (Drayton, ND) basketball nipped the visiting Dakota Prairie Knights (Petersburg, ND), 52-45 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Titans (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Northern Cass (Hunter, ND). The Jaguars go into the non-league test with a 2-7 record. In their last test, Northern Cass got by Enderlin (Enderlin, ND), 66-63, in a league test.
The Knights now own a 0-8 record. They play next when they travel to St. John for a B Region 4 test on Tuesday, January 24. Dakota Prairie will encounter a Woodchucks squad coming off a 57-52 league loss to New Rockford-Sheyenne (New Rockford, ND). The Woodchucks record now stands at 6-4.
