In Saturday's non-league outing, the Houston Academy Raiders (Dothan, AL) basketball squad felled the visiting Deerfield-Windsor Knights (Albany, GA), by a margin of 37-29.

The Raiders (23-2) will now prepare for their outing against Northside Methodist Academy (Dothan, AL). The Knights go into the 3A Area 3 outing with a 6-13 record. In their last outing, Northside Methodist Academy was beaten by Cottonwood (Cottonwood, AL), 51-48, in a non-league outing.

The Knights now own a 11-6 record. They play next when they travel to Southland Academy for a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 3 outing on Tuesday, January 24. Deerfield-Windsor will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 78-45 non-league win over First Presbyterian Day (Macon, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 15-3.
