The Fulton Science Academy Mustangs basketball team (Alpharetta, GA), was overwhelmed 68-37 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting East Ridge Pioneers (Chattanooga, TN)
The Pioneers now possess a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Signal Mountain for a 3A District 6 battle on Tuesday, January 24. East Ridge will confront a Eagles team coming off a 66-49 league loss to Red Bank (Chattanooga, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 9-11.
The Mustangs (7-6) will now prepare for their battle against Cristo Rey Atlanta (Atlanta, GA). The come into the GIAA AAAA/AAA District 1 battle with a 12-8 record. In their last battle, Cristo Rey Atlanta trounced Holy Spirit Prep (Atlanta, GA), 79-31, in a league battle.
