The Sutton Mustangs (Sutton, NE) basketball knocked off the visiting Fairbury Jeffs (Fairbury, NE), 48-33 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Mustangs (4-10) will now prepare for their test against Milford (Milford, NE). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 7-8 record. In their last test, Milford went down by David City (David City, NE), 64-46, in a non-league test.

The Jeffs now own a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Sandy Creek for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 24. Fairbury will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 46-41 non-league win over Thayer Central (Hebron, NE). The Cougars record now stands at 6-9.
