California High School Basketball - South Pasadena can't hold off George Washington Prep

The George Washington Prep Generals basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting South Pasadena Tigers to 49 in the Generals non-league victory on Saturday.

The Generals now sport a 11-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dorsey for a Coliseum contest on Wednesday, January 25. George Washington Prep will battle a Dons team coming off a 66-45 league loss to Crenshaw (Los Angeles, CA). The Dons record now stands at 8-13.

The Tigers (16-6) will now prepare for their contest against Blair (Pasadena, CA). The Vikings come into the Rio Hondo contest with a 13-10 record. In their last contest, Blair was nudged by La Canada (La Canada, CA), 72-63, in a league contest.
