Glenwood Titans (Chatham, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Mahomet-Seymour Bulldogs (Mahomet, IL), 57-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Glenwood upgrades its record to 10-11 on the season. The Titans host Rochester (Rochester, IL) to play the Rockets in a Central State Eight bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Rockets go into the bout with a record of 12-11. Rochester lost 53-48 in their recent non-league bout against Pleasant Plains (Pleasant Plains, IL)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Bloomington Purple Raiders (Bloomington, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Mahomet-Seymour will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Purple Raiders go into the bout with a 4-16 record after their 54-48 non-league loss to Lake Park (Roselle, IL).
