West Virginia High School Basketball - Grafton overwhelmed by Ripley

January 21, 2023: Ripley, WV 25271

The Ripley Vikings basketball team scored 76 points and restricted the visiting Grafton Bearcats to 43 in the Vikings non-league victory on Saturday.

The Vikings now sport a 12-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln County for a Freelance contest on Tuesday, January 24. Ripley will battle a Panthers team coming off a 67-30 non-league win over Man (Man, WV). The Panthers record now stands at 5-6.

The Bearcats (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Fairmont Senior (Fairmont, WV). The Polar Bears come into the Big Ten contest with a 11-0 record. In their last contest, Fairmont Senior triumphed over Lincoln (Shinnston, WV), 69-31, in a league contest.
