The Greenup County Musketeers (Greenup, KY) basketball nipped the host Menifee County Wildcats (Frenchburg, KY), 57-55 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Musketeers (7-10) will now prepare for their test against Fairview (Ashland, KY). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 9-8 record.
The Wildcats now own a 6-10 record. They play next when they travel to Rowan County for a District 61 test on Tuesday, January 24. Menifee County will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 58-55 non-league win over Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY). The Vikings record now stands at 10-9.
