Greenwood Wildcats (Millerstown, PA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Shalom Christian Academy Flames (Chambersburg, PA), 62-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Greenwood upgrades its record to 12-1 on the season. The Wildcats host Halifax (Halifax, PA) to play the Wildcats in a Tri-Valley bout on Monday, January 23. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 10-2. Halifax won 49-41 in their recent league bout against Susquenita (Duncannon, PA)

Next up, the Flames play the Grace Academy Knights (Hagerstown, MD) in a Mason-Dixon Christian bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Shalom Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 5-7 record after their 56-45 league loss to Faith Christian Academy (Martinsburg, WV).
