The Sanborn Central/Woonsocket Rebels (Forestburg, SD) basketball crushed the host Hitchcock-Tulare Patriots (Hitchcock, SD), 64-32 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Rebels (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Hanson (Alexandria, SD). The Beavers go into the A Region 5 test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, Hanson walloped Gregory (Gregory, SD), 50-38, in a non-league test.
The Patriots now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Redfield for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 24. Hitchcock-Tulare will encounter a Pheasants squad coming off a 59-21 non-league loss to Hamlin (Hayti, SD). The Pheasants record now stands at 6-6.
