In Saturday's non-league outing, the Whiteford Bobcats (Ottawa Lake, MI) basketball squad nipped the visiting Ida Bluestreaks (Ida, MI), by a margin of 54-49.
The Bobcats (8-3) will now prepare for their outing against Summerfield (Petersburg, MI). The Bulldogs go into the Tri-County outing with a 7-4 record. In their last outing, Summerfield got by Whitmore Lake (Whitmore Lake, MI), 54-41, in a non-league outing.
The Bluestreaks now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Hudson for a Lenawee County outing on Tuesday, January 24. Ida will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 48-40 league loss to Columbia Central (Brooklyn, MI). The Tigers record now stands at 5-7.
