The Ingomar Falcons basketball team scored 81 points and held the visiting Mantachie Mustangs to 65 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Falcons now sport a 15-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tupelo Christian Prep for a 1A Region 2 contest on Monday, January 23. Ingomar will battle a Eagles team coming off a 84-38 league loss to Ingomar (New Albany, MS). The Eagles record now stands at 0-11.

The Mustangs (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against Booneville (Booneville, MS). The Blue Devils enter the 3A Region 1 contest with a 17-1 record. In their last contest, Booneville ran past Water Valley (Water Valley, MS), 62-31, in a league contest.
