The Perry-Lecompton Kaws (Perry, KS) basketball crushed the visiting Jefferson County North Chargers (Winchester, KS), 57-27 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Kaws (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Hiawatha (Hiawatha, KS). The Red Hawks go into the non-league test with a 3-9 record. In their last test, Hiawatha walloped Nemaha Central (Seneca, KS), 47-43, in a league test.

The Chargers now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they host Horton for a non-league test on Monday, January 23. Jefferson County North will encounter a Chargers squad coming off a 59-45 non-league win over Maranatha Christian Academy (Shawnee, KS). The Chargers record now stands at 6-5.
