In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Monroeville Eagles basketball team scored a decisive 55-14 win over the Lakota Raiders.

The Eagles (9-6) will now prepare for their outing against Crestview (Ashland, OH). The Cougars go into the Firelands outing with a 14-1 record. In their last outing, Crestview was crushed by Lucas (Lucas, OH), 74-34, in a non-league outing.

The Raiders now hold a 1-11 record. They play next when they host Gibsonburg for a Sandusky Bay - River outing on Thursday, January 26.
