In Saturday's non-league outing, the Marshall Eagles (Pasadena, CA) basketball squad edged the visiting Lancaster Eagles (Lancaster, CA), by a margin of 55-53.
The Eagles (8-10) will now prepare for their outing against Gabrielino (San Gabriel, CA). The Eagles go into the Mission Valley bout with a 15-7 record. In their last bout, Gabrielino nipped El Monte (El Monte, CA), 64-15, in a league bout.
Next up, the Eagles play the Highland Bulldogs (Palmdale, CA) in a Golden bout, on Monday, January 23. Lancaster will attempt to upgrade on its 3-18 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 13-10 record after their 76-41 league win over Antelope Valley (Lancaster, CA).
