The West Central Trojans (Hartford, SD) basketball knocked off the host Little Wound Mustangs (Kyle, SD), 58-39 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Trojans (3-6) will now prepare for their test against Lennox (Lennox, SD). The Orioles go into the non-league test with a 8-2 record. In their last test, Lennox notched a victory over Platte/Geddes (Platte, SD), 76-44, in a non-league test.

The Mustangs now own a 6-6 record. They play next when they host Pine Ridge for a A Region 7 test on Tuesday, January 24. Little Wound will encounter a Thorpes squad coming off a 70-52 non-league loss to Vermillion (Vermillion, SD). The Thorpes record now stands at 7-3.
