The West Morris Mendham Minutemen (Mendham, NJ) basketball crushed the visiting Mount Olive Marauders (Flanders, NJ), 54-30 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Minutemen (9-5) will now prepare for their test against Pope John XXIII (Sparta, NJ). The go into the Northwest Jersey - National test with a 1-12 record. In their last test, Pope John XXIII was trounced by Westfield (Westfield, NJ), 60-37, in a non-league test.
The Marauders now own a 3-8 record. They play next when they travel to Chatham for a Northwest Jersey - American test on Monday, January 23. Mount Olive will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 62-41 non-league win over Morris Knolls (Rockaway, NJ). The Cougars record now stands at 10-2.
