North Sand Mountain Bison (Higdon, AL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Skyline Vikings (Scottsboro, AL), 73-72 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Sand Mountain upgrades its record to 19-4 on the season. The Bison host North Jackson (Stevenson, AL) to clash with the Chiefs in a non-league bout on Monday, January 23. The Chiefs go into the bout with a record of 1-7. North Jackson lost 62-47 in their recent non-league bout against Marion County (Jasper, TN)

Next up, the Vikings clash with the Pisgah Eagles (Pisgah, AL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Skyline will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 68-62 league loss to North Sand Mountain (Higdon, AL).
