In Saturday's non-league outing, the St. Rita Mustangs (Chicago, IL) basketball squad edged the host Salt Lake Academy Griffins (Herriman, UT), by a margin of 64-61.

The Mustangs (13-8) will now prepare for their outing against Chicago Mt. Carmel (Chicago, IL). The Caravan go into the Chicago Catholic - Blue outing with a 19-2 record. In their last outing, Chicago Mt. Carmel held off Leo (Chicago, IL), 75-41, in a non-league outing.

The Griffins now own a 15-9 record. They play next when they travel to American Heritage for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 28.
