Salesian College Preparatory Pride (Richmond, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Miramonte Matadors (Orinda, CA), 54-24 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Salesian College Preparatory upgrades its record to 15-5 on the season. The Pride travel to Pinole Valley (Pinole, CA) to play the Spartans in a bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Pinole Valley lost 48-44 in their recent league bout against Saint Mary's (Albany, CA)

Next up, the Matadors play the Northgate Broncos (Walnut Creek, CA) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Miramonte will attempt to upgrade on its 2-12 season record. The Broncos go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 54-46 league loss to Clayton Valley Charter (Concord, CA).
